Green Magma Review

green magma reviewGreen Magma Review | Overview

Superfood green drinks are amazing for you. You must know that because you’ve arrived at my top 10 superfood green drink reviews. Unfortunately, this Green Magma review isn’t going to get anywhere near our top 10 dwelling. In fact, this drink kind of bummed me out.

Superfood green drinks should include a variety of superfoods. That’s the point. That’s what makes them convenient for us. They spare us from venturing into cold and callous grocery stores. They save us from chopping things up and prepping them and then storing them and then getting upset when they go bad.

Today’s Green Magma review will leave the jury with no doubt: Green Magma does not accomplish any of this.

Green Magma Company

Green Food corporation is the maker of Green Magma. Here’s the thing: they’ve been around since the 1960’s. Green Magma is kind of like that old uncle you have that just refuses to stop wearing penny loafers. Being adverse to change or evolution is Green Magma’s Achilles heel.

Green Magma Ingredients

This superfood green drink simply hasn’t been updated in EVER. That’s a long time. Green Magma ingredients are, well, not really “ingredients” at all; instead, this Green Magma review is mostly about organic barley grass. Because that’s all Green Magma has inside of it.

Green Magma Taste

What does Green Magma taste like? It tastes like organic barley grass peppered with a little more organic barley grass with a side of organic barley grass. I don’t know why that is? Oh, wait, yes I do, it is because Green Magma ingredients are really just barley grass. Now it all makes a load of sense, doesn’t it?

If you really decide to buy Green Magma, I’d suggest getting some stevia and some almond milk and maybe toss in some blueberries. I think that’d kick it up another level in taste decency.

Green Magma Nutrition

Well, organic barley grass is a legit superfood. The stuff is great for you. It contains a load of vitamins and minerals. It has flavonoids and chlorophyll. It’s got fiber. Vitamins B2, B12, B6 and B1 are all said to be in it. To be honest, I’d take the “B12” aspect with a grain of salt. You really need meat or supplements for that. But many websites list barley grass as a provider of it.

Green Magma Value

You get 6 grams of organic barley grass for $1 per serving. You also get a plastic container. This is the first time in my life I’ve been forced to add the container into the value section. I don’t feel good about that. Not at all.

This is poor value. You could go to a store and find a barley grass supplement for much less the cost of this. Most all the green superfood drinks that I review already have barley grass in them as one ingredient of many.

It is made with organic barley grass. The end.

Seriously, close the curtain, this show is over. This might have been acceptable in the 1960’s, along with rabbit ears for cable and Holiday Inns for family vacations, but things have seriously changed. Now superfood drinks are stout with powerful superfoods. The competition is too thick for a singular drink like Green Magma to have any chance at all. These days, you can get too much value from green superfood products that compete for your business. Don’t be fooled.

There is absolutely no value in buying a “superfood drink” that only contains one superfood. That’s like still wearing penny loafers when Crocs are so incredibly cool these days. Ok, I was kidding. I don’t wear Crocs. Maybe sometimes I do, they are comfortable but I don’t ever wear them out.

This means you get no antioxidants. Digestive enzymes? Nah. Just barley grass. Green Magma is unabashedly uncompetitive.

I’ve rarely ever reviewed a superfood drink that only contains one superfood. That’s ancient. These days, the top superfood green drinks all contain multiple sources of superfoods, probiotics, and enzymes.

I would check out our top superfood green drink reviews and find any other option than this. Almost all of our top drink suggestions have barley grass in them and more. There is no reasonable justification I can think of to buy Green Magma.

I’d honestly start with Kylea’s Total Living Drink Greens. That stuff has every superfood imaginable in it. I drink it daily. I’d never go for a singular experience when it comes to my health. The more robust the drink is in terms of superfoods, the more money you save and the more your health benefits. It is as simple as that.
